I own a beige Pontiac Sunfire and my glasses are more Tina Fey than Lisa Loeb (circa 1994’s “Stay,” I’m assuming that’s what he’s referring to), but…ah, details, details. As far as I’m concerned, it still works.

In defense of me reblogging myself for a third time on this song, I just finished listening to this. I don’t know why this song makes me feel the way it does, because it’s not connected to any person or event or anything. It’s just a song that I heard and liked and then loved.

I think it’s the lyrics and the simple guitar strum; something about it feels fearlessly honest and genuine. I guess on some level I love it because it’s not connected to anyone or anything. It’s more of a desire. It’s more that I would melt in an inexplicable manner to have someone genuinely, honestly feel that way about me (or for me to feel that way about someone else).
